The United Public Safety Front (UPSF) is currently embarking on a roadshow to promote the upcoming summit, pertaining to safety and uniting the organizations to have a more effective voice against poor service delivery, corruption, and the notion of some government departments who has the intent to divide communities.
We met with community structures, in the Athlone region on the 30th of November 2017, as well as the Western Cape Provincial Board ( Community Police Forum) in Worcester on the 9th December 2017.
The UPSF was well received and the aforementioned structures made  valuable input in the contributions.
You will be informed of the upcoming vital meetings in the near future. Communities are welcome to invite the UPSF for discussions and brainstorming.

 

Our communities are under tremendous pressure to protect their children who are often caught in the cross fire of gangsters and violent crime. This phenomenon is fast spreading to the more affluent communities in our province.

 

This continues while political leaders fight amongst each other for power and in turn divide us. The communities most affected feel that the responsible state  agencies, at all levels, have failed them.

 

The United Public Safety Front was established to unite our communities, strengthen them and elevate their collective voices by providing a platform for them to be heard. We are calling on all NGO's, FBO's, CPF's, NHW's, SGB's, Heath Forums, Transport and Business forums to join us to develop a strategic plan to;

 

• Strengthen citizen oversight 

• Strengthen community based  organisations in the execution of their responsibility 

• Educate our communities make them aware of their rights

• Build a good working  relationship with business in identifying joint focus area's of concern

• Identify areas of improvement in relation to service delivery at all levels of government 

• Strengthen the relationship between the government agencies and the communities they serve. 

 

By doing this we believe we will have a well informed, effective and united community who will be able do the right things. Join us on the 24th March 2018.
